How Far Ahead Should You Book a 360 Photo Booth in Freetown?

Which dates go first, how much lead time overlays need, and what to do at short notice.

By 360 Photobooth Freetown, the 360 photo booth hire service for Freetown · Updated 7 October 2026

Book a 360 photo booth as soon as your date and venue are fixed. For weddings, that is usually several months ahead; for parties and corporate events, a few weeks is often enough. Saturdays go first, and a fully custom overlay needs time to design and approve. If your event is days away, message on WhatsApp today; short-notice dates are sometimes free.

The short answer by event

EventBook this far ahead
Wedding (Saturday)As soon as the venue is booked, often months ahead
Traditional wedding / put-stoneAs soon as the families fix the date
Milestone birthday1–2 months
Graduation partyAs soon as the ceremony date is announced
Corporate party or awards night1–2 months, allowing time for procurement
Conference or trade showWhen the event dates are confirmed

Which dates go first

Saturdays. Most weddings and many parties in Freetown happen on Saturdays, so they are the first dates to be taken. Fridays and Sundays are easier to secure.

Graduation weeks. Many graduates celebrate in the same few weeks after ceremonies, so those weekends fill quickly.

End of year. Corporate end-of-year parties and family celebrations cluster in the final weeks of the year.

Lead time for overlays

The standard overlay with names and date is quick to prepare. A fully custom design, with a monogram, logo or themed artwork, needs time to design, send for approval, revise if needed, and test on the booth. For corporate events where a brand team signs off, allow extra time. See what to send for a custom overlay.

Booking at short notice

If your event is in the next week or two, do not assume it is too late. Send your date, venue and hours on WhatsApp. If the booth is free, the quote comes back in writing and the booking can be confirmed quickly. The standard names-and-date overlay can be ready at short notice.

How booking works

  1. Send your date, venue and hours.
  2. Receive a written quote covering hours, extras and travel.
  3. Accept the quote and pay any deposit it sets out to confirm the date.
  4. Approve your overlay before the day.

The deposit and cancellation terms are set out in your quote. Read questions to ask about deposits and cancellations before you pay any supplier.

Bottom line

Book as soon as your date and venue are fixed, especially for a Saturday. At short notice, ask anyway. To check your date now, call or WhatsApp +232 75 009582.
